Sport and Healthy Eating


Oaklands has a wide range of fun filled sports so you can learn cool techniques and play lively games.  Not only are the sport clubs phenomenal but also they keep you fit and healthy.  But remember you still have to eat your fruit and veggies!  All our coaches are extremely helpful and challenge you to persevere in your chosen sport.


We hope you join in with our sports and have loads of fun.

Indoor Athletics

8 girls and 8 boys from Year 5 and 6 went to Monks Walk School to compete in an indoor athletics competition.  We came 2nd!!!


NSPCC Buddy Workout

The whole school have taken part in different sports to raise money for Childline.   It was great fun and we have raised lots of money!


Tag Rugby

Year 5 and 6 got really muddy in the local tag rugby festival.  We worked really well as a team. 



Last term, Year 3 enjoyed their swimming at Hatfield swimming pool and earnt lots of certificates.  Now it is Year 2's turn!
