RACE FOR LIFE SEPTEMBER 2020
Team Oaklands rain the Race for Life in lieu of our usual parent’s coffee morning raising a whopping £1972.51

On the 13th December, 2019, Coltsfoot Country House hosted the Oaklands School Winter Ball in aid of the Isabel Hospice in Welwyn Garden City.
Within the academic year 18-19 both a valued member of the Oaklands staff team and one of our parents died whilst supported by the incredible team at the Isabel Hospice. For the families involved the hospice was invaluable, kind and human to the end.
As a thank you to the hospice, to support their ongoing work and in celebration of the lives of those we've lost we raised £4250 for the hospice, a combined total from our Winter Ball and Coffee Morning in September 2018.
This funding will pay for 146 hours of palliative nursing care or the cost of 90 home visits by the team's Community Nurse Specialists.
A huge thank you to everyone that was involved through contributing prizes, promoting the event, hosting or attending. Your contribution will make a huge difference to patients lives.
