  A huge well done to our KS2 basketball team who not only made it through local and district heats but also made it through to the county finals - and came third! Well done to all involved.

  We were really proud to see two of our pupils competing in Zulu at the Junior Language Challenge finals in London this year. Both girls made the final 40 children having beaten off national competition from over 2000 pupils nationally. Grace came 4th overall and Amber was the youngest competitor in the final - well done to both girls

• MacMillan Coffee Morning

  Well done to everyone who attended and donated at our coffee morning in September. Organised by Mr Sutch and his year class, the event raised £432 for MacMillan Cancer Care. Your generosity and support is hugely appreciated. Thank you

• Welwyn Centenary Photographic Competition

  A huge well done to, Ruby,  Molly and Oscar for winning their age category in the Welwyn Photographic Competition. Praise must also go to Jack and Livvy who were also finalists.

• Silver National Teacher of the year

  A huge well done to Mr Hudson for recognition in the Pearson National Teaching Awards. Mr Hudson beat off stiff competition to be one of only 6 silver award winners  in the UK. This will put him through to the finals in London in October where he could be named Gold overall winner for Teacher of the year. ~proudschool
